Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo Boo will soon be making their way to the big screen in the form of a 3D CG-animated feature that will be directed by Eric Brevig (Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D).

The classic Hanna Barbera cartoon will be remade combining live action and CG in the likes of Alvin and the Chipmunks and will offer a new take on the half-century old characters as they get into a series of misadventures in Jellystone Park.

The screenplay is being penned by Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia (That ‘70s Show).
