Best known for his role as the infatuated young Anthony in Sweeney Todd, 20-year-old British thesp Jamie Campbell-Bower has joined the cast of New Moon, the sequel to Twilight.

The sequel sees damsel-in-distress Bella being drawn into the world of the werewolves. Campbell-Bower will play Caius, the leader of the Italy-based vampire coven the Volturi.

Chris Weitz is helming the film, which has already begun shooting.
