I found another in the Chiller Dare 2 Direct series, and I think I’ve found a less than choice one for the first time.  Not so much because of what it was, but because of what it wasn’t.

It’s called Fallout, and it basically supposes the last survivor of what I’m guessing is either a zombie apocalypse, or a nuclear incident that CAUSED a zombie apocalypse, either or.  It’s only about six minutes long, so you know a six minute zombie flick isn’t going to have a whole lot to it.  And that may be Fallout’s big problem.  By the time I got to the end, I saw so much potential for this movie.  And by the time I could catch the potential, the whole thing buckled like a house of cards.

It’s sad, really–this could’ve been a real winner.  But it ran into the big limitation of the short film: time.  They just plain didn’t allow the time they needed to tell the story they should have. Thus, I’m left feeling cheated–not because of what I saw, but of what I wasn’t allowed to see.
