Andy Fickman (Race to Witch Mountain) is now set to helm the family adventure Monster Attack Network for Disney Pictures.

The film will be based on the 2007 graphic novel that focused on a team of first-responders who guard the citizens of Laipuatu, a Pacific Island that is frequently attacked by giant monsters that rise from the sea.

Scott Elder and Josh harmon are adapting the novel by Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman.
