The Hollywood Reporter sends word that Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek), Kristen Connolly (Revolutionary Road), Anna Hutchison (Underbelly), Fran Kranz (The Village) and Jesse Williams (Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2) have joined the cast of horror film The Cabin in the Woods.

Written by Joss Whedon, details of the movie have been withheld by filmmakers and the studio. Whedon himself will produce, with Drew Goddard directing.

Filming is already underway. It is now due out February 5, 2010.
