I’m sure that, like me, you’ve found yourself asking several times, “What would Pokemon look like if it were headed up by John Kricfalusi of Ren and Stimpy fame?”.  What do you mean, you’ve never wondered that?  Man…my luck.  That’s a perfectly good segue just WASTED.  Anyway, in case my segue got you wondering, all you’ve got to do is head over to Something Awful and check out Meowth’s Hot Date.

The title pretty much explains it–the most annoying cartoon cat-thing in history for some reason has a hot date, and he’s invited her over to the house he shares with everyone’s favorite Team Rocket morons, Jessie and James.  Who, for some reason, have bloated to gargantuan sizes and managed to get even dumber than they were when they were hunting Pikachu nonstop.  The date…well…let’s just say Meowth isn’t getting lucky tonight, coin in his forehead or no.

Packed with sheer lunacy, irresponsible violence, moron abuse, bloodshed and unanswered questions like “Just what was in the couch, anyway?” and “How did they get that FAT?”, Meowth’s Hot Date will nonetheless provide a goodly amount of laughs, especially for the price of admission.  Which is, parenthetically, nothing–it’s an online video.
