Another title in the YouTube series of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark for you today, folks, as I break into The Wendigo.

This one is about a wealthy hunter who ventures boldly into the wilds of the Canadian wilderness (of which there is a surprising lot), to go hunting where very few before him had.  But on his trek through the wilderness, he discovers that some places are poorly traveled for a reason.

For a five minute video about a kid’s spooky story, this one’s actually pretty exciting.  You can chalk that up to some really choice background music and one of the spookiest voice actors out there, because even I jumped on this one.  I had never before realized just how creepy these old stories could be with the addition of some freaky music and a proper reader.  And, even better, the story has been transcribed for you in the YouTube information section.

I’m looking forward to passing on the rest of this series to you–there’s plenty of them, so I’ll be at it for a while.  And if the rest are as good as the first two, then we’re all in for a treat.
