March 16th, 2009 in Movie News -
The Hollywood Reporter sends word that Disney Pictures has picked up family comedy Wouldn’t it be Nice. The film is being produced by Andrew Gunn via his studio-based Gunn Films.
It will follow a teenage couple who, just before they plan to run away and follow their dreams, are magically zapped 20 years into the future to discover that their lives didn’t turn out as expected.
Now stuck in their mid 30s with teenage minds and dealing with three kids and everyday worries, they learn that maybe they weren’t as grown up as they once thought.
It has been penned by writer-directors Barry Blaustein and Jason Hefter.
