The trades are reporting that Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers, GI Joe) will produce a live action adaptation of the comic Lions, Tigers and Bears for Paramount Pictures.

The comic series focused on a young boy whose stuffed animals come to life in the middle of the night to protect him from a group of monsters called the Beasties.

Joey Aucoin (Unicorn) is penning the adaptation.
