It’s all casting news today: Noureen DeWulf (Chuck) has been cast opposite Jennifer Lopez in the romantic comedy The Back-Up Plan for CBS Films.

The film follows a fed-up wannabe mother (played by Lopez) who meets a promising romantic prospect the same day she undergoes artificial insemination.

DeWulf plays Daphne, a hip downtown co-worker at Lopez’s pet store. Michaela Watkins and Alex O’Loughlin round out the cast.

The screenplay was penned by Kate Angelo; the film is being helmed by Alan Poul.
