Variety reports that Simon Hunter (Mutant Chronicles) has signed on to direct and tweak the script for indie thriller Curve.

Written by Kimberly Johnson, the film centers on a young woman who finds herself at the mercy of a psychopathic killer after taking a detour into the backwoods outside New York City.

Quite a few producers are onboard, including Chris Bender, JC Spink, Neal Flaherty and Stephen L’Heureux.

Production starts this fall.
