From the Hollywood Reporter comes word that Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale) and Alexa Davalos (Riddick) have joined the cast of the upcoming Clash of the Titans remake.

Mikkelsen will play Draco, a skilled fighter and leader of the Praetorian Guard who accompanies Perseus, who is on a quest to save a princess and defeat Hades. Davalos will play Andromeda, the captured princess.

It was reported earlier that Gemma Arterton was cast in the film.

Louis Leterrier directs the film, which will start shooting by the end of the month.
