Whoever said fairy tale characters had to settle down and lead happy lives? For Snow White maybe, but the Hansel and Gretel duo are badass, as they turned to hunting witches after their encounter with one!

Dead Snow co-writer/director Tommy Wirkola is planning such a project – Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters – one that is set after the events of the gingerbread house. The film will follow the siblings as they become bounty hunters looking to exterminate witches. Awesomeness defined.

Wirkola is aiming for a mix of horror action/comedy in the vein of Shaun of the Dead. Producers onboard are Adam McKay, Will Ferrell and Chris Henchy.
