Highroad Entertainment has bought screen rights to Ross Schwartz’s original screenplay Looking for Nora Desmond, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Taking inspiration from the Hollywood classic Sunset Boulevard, the film tells the complicated love story of a struggling writer and the aging former starlet whose comeback he engineers.

Sunset starred Gloria Swanson as the fading star, whose career is similar to that of Schwartz’s lead character Betty Moran.
