Isaac Florentine directed Ninja, which is similar to his other movies straight-to-video titles and other films like Desert Kickboxer and Bridge of Dragons. The story was written by Boaz Davidson, a producer and TV movie writer, and the screenplay was written by first-timer Zaki Rubenstein.

A U.S. distributor has not signed on yet but will soon.

The story follows Casey, a westerner studying Ninjutsu in Japan. He is asked by the Sensei to return to New York and protect Yoroi Bitsu, a legendary armored chest that holds the weapons of the last Koga Ninja.
