Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling are set to star together in Blue Valentine, an independent drama about a couple (Williams and Gosling) whose marriage is failing. They recall better days as their relationship takes a nose dive. 

Filming has already started in New York and Pennsylvania.

Derek Cianfrance directs the drama written by Cami Delavigne and Joey Curtis.

Other cast members include Mike Vogel, John Doman and Maryann Plunkett.
