Quite a few directors have been in the running to helm the upcoming relaunch of Predator, but now one clear contender has emerged: Hungarian director Nimrod Antal (Vacancy).

It was previously rumored that Neil Marshall (The Descent) was slated to direct, though he was one of the seven directors who were in the running for the film.

Written by Alex Litvak, the film is set to begin production before the end of the year.
