Who doesn’t love whales? They are adorable, cute and edible. Ken Kwapis loves whales, too, as he is now in final negotiations to direct Everybody Loves Whales for Warner Bros. Pictures.

The script centers on a love story between a nonprofit worker and a journalist set against the backdrop of three California Gray Whales that were found trapped under the ice of the Arctic Circle in 1998.

It has been written by Jack Amiel and Michael Begler who are quite definitely whale lovers. And it appears Steve Golin and Michael Sugar are too, as they are onboard as producers.
