Fairy tale stories end with their characters living happily ever after, but what truly happens after the ending? Mike Mitchell (Shrek Forever After) is set to answer that question when he directs the live-action fantasy film Once Upon a Time….

The film will follow the three famous princesses – Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty – married to their handsome princes, the Charming Brothers, and planning to live happily ever after until their spouses go missing. It is up to them to solve the mystery and save the fairy tale kingdom.

It has been written by Charlie Vignola, Kevin Marcus and Bradley Marcus. Since the characters are part of the public domain now, there is no need to license them from Disney who has made quite a profit out of them.
