Morgan to pen Bond
June 14th, 2009 in Screenwriting, Sequels -
Get your pen and paper ready to write some hate mail (or love mail, whichever you choose), as it is now official that The Last King of Scotland scribe Peter Morgan has been hired to write the script for the next James Bond film.
Fortunately, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have helped co-write every Bond film since 1999, remain in place to work alongside Morgan.
Morgan will start work on the film once he wraps up work on The Special Relationship and Hereafter. A date for the start of production for the film is yet to be set.
