I know screenwriters who pen these types of movies. They write them in such away to keep the budget way down, so the movie makes money no matter how ridiculous or far reaching the movie ends up being.
I remember when you could count on The Asylum to take chances and make the movies that no one else would becaseu they were just too far out there. Now, all they do is rip off literally EVERYTHING that comes out. I’ve seen how far they’ve fallen, and it hurts.
Yes, it’s tough to see and production company lose it.
