Joining Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning in The Runaways is Scout Taylor-Compton from 2007’s Halloween.

The film is based on the true story of the all-girl punk band in the ‘70s. Compton has been hired to play Lita Ford, the lead guitarist of the band and a true legend on her own right.

Floria Sigismondi wrote and will direct the project. It is currently being shot in Los Angeles.
