And yet another children’s book series is making its jump to the big-screen in hopes of becoming the next superstar franchise. This time around, it’s the Tom Trueheart trilogy, the first of which is being adapted as a live-action film.

Dubbed The Secret History of Tom Trueheart, the film will follow a young boy and his older brothers in the Land of Stories. It has a budget of $60 million and is being targeted for a mid-2010 start.
