Delving into the spec script market, Paramount has picked up the rights to Hellified, a supernatural action script by Andy Burg.

The script will explore what a journey to and through hell would be like. No other details were given.

Burg is known for being a comedy and family-film writer, having worked on various Hollywood projects such as K-9 and Alaska.

Dan Bradley is onboard to direct. Previously a second-unit director, his resume is filled with credits for The Bourne Supremacy, Quantum of Solace and Spider-Man sequels. He is also attached to direct the upcoming Red Dawn remake.
