The trades are reporting that CBS Films has picked up the comedy spec Get a Job by Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel.

It will tell the story of a college graduate and his friends who are compelled to lower life expectations when they leave campus for the real world.

The project is being set up with Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher, who are also in production on true-life medical drama Crowley, which stars Brendan Fraser, Harrison Ford and Keri Russell.

Pennekamp and Turpel are known for having written Secret Agent Men, Duck for President and Wedding the Winterbottoms.
