Moore to tackle the love story of money

On July 9th, 2009

Michael Moore is back at it again, having announced a new documentary that will tackle the global financial crisis. Dubbed Capitalism: A Love Story, the film will address the cause of the global economic meltdown and the impact that corporate dominance has on the lives of Americans all over the world.

Quite humorously, Moore noted that it will be a “perfect date movie,” as it has “got it all – lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day.” The film is due out on October 2.

This is the first film since Moore’s Sicko which was released back in 2007. Moore is responsible for three of the top six highest-grossing documentaries: Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko and Bowling for Columbine.

The film is being distributed by Overture and Paramount Pictures.
