Known best for his flashy commercials and a piece he directed for the X-Men Origins: Wolverine video game, up-and-coming director Rupert Sanders may just be set to helm The Low Dweller, a dark ex-con drama in development at DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Scott’s Scott Free Productions.

Sanders is also attached to The Wild Geese, an action epic in the works at Warner Bros.

Dweller centers on a Midwestern man who gets out of prison only to be haunted by a figure from his past. The script incited a bidding war when it was being shown around last year. Relativity and MGM eventually won with a seven-figure bid. It has been written by Brad Ingelsby.
