The Game to take on The T?

July 3rd, 2009 in Action, Actors -

No one can replace Mr. T’s immortal role as B.A. Baracus on The A-Team, but since he’s too old for the role now, Hollywood has had to look for other actors to step into the big shoes left by the T. Recent buzz indicated that rapper-turned-actor Common would be stepping into said shoes, but Blackfilm today reports that rapper The Game is now being considered for the role.

The site notes that Common may not be able to finish shooting Just Right by the time they get The A-Team started this August. Apparently, other possible candidates for the role so far have been Ice Cube and MMA fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

The Game, meanwhile, is said to be free. He made his film debut in Waist Deep and was last seen in Street Kings.

The A-Team is set to start shooting this August under the watchful eyes of Joe Carnahan. It is set for release next summer.
