Twilight’s sequel New Moon is all set to play a huge part at Comic-con in San Diego and at the same time casting news for Twilight‘s third installment, Eclipse, begins with an unknown Australian actor named Xavier Samuel joining the cast.

Samuel has landed the first new role in Eclipse.  He plays a “newborn vampire.”

I haven’t read the Twilight series, sorry folks, so I’m not familiar with the plot.  But apparently Riley is a good looking college student (aren’t they all) and he joins Victoria’s plan to murder Bella. Riley is corrupted by Victoria, whom he has enigmatic weakness.

Of course, the major story line for Eclipse concerns the love choice Bella has to make between werewolf Jacob and vampire Edward.   It’s tough hanging around vampires and werewolves.   I am sure after Comic-con we’ll know more about New Moon and Eclipse.
