I love the look of the A Serious Man movie poster because it shows a desperate man on the verge. I rather like it because it reminds me of my childhood when homes had TV antennas. I am sure at least once each dad in the neighborhood stood on their roof tops for something like adjusting the TV antenna or to jump off.

Coen brothers’ movies express an awkward slice of life.  It appears they have created that slice of life in their next film. It’s a story that takes place in the late 60s about an ordinary man’s search for clarity in a universe where Jefferson Airplane is on the radio and “F-Troop” is on TV.
