Heath Ledger’s last film – ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ Int’l Trailer

Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus International trailer looks and even feels whimsical, spectacle and magnificent.  Before Maria from CastTV sent me the trailer, I was moaning to myself that there weren’t any exciting films coming out for awhile since summer is ending, then this wonderful, uplifting and magical trailer arrived in my email. My destiny has been transformed.

I am awed by Gilliam‘s handling of the unpleasant aspect of Ledger’s precipitate death.  Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law appear and seem like Ledger, yet they add a glorious twist to the character that works and communicates wonderfully through this trailer. My affinity rises so high for these three actors and Gilliam, taking on a job that allows Ledger’s legacy to live forever.

I have to mention Christopher Plummer is brilliant as usual. He is a legend and a consummate actor.  After seeing this trailer, I have even deeper respect for him. I hope he wins an Oscar.

Do you think I am overly excited about this trailer?
