Stalker Online Review–All In A Day’s Work

On August 19th, 2009

It’s generally not a good idea to advertise that your film took one whole day to shoot–short film or no, that’s not exactly a quality bell-ringer.  But in the case of Stalker, today’s short film review, that’s not exactly true.  I guess we’d all be surprised what a difference a day can really make.

In this one, a woman is stalked relentlessly by a huge man in a chromed facemask.  But is he really there?  Or is she just seeing things?

Sadly, neither of these questions will be definitively answered by the end of the short, but we will get a short and interesting burst of horror joy to play with.  Yeah, sure, hot chick stalked by Mr. Chrome Facemask isn’t exactly the zenith of originality but it’s the stuff that some people’s nightmares are made of.  In that sense, this movie does nicely.

Thus, the Screenhead Ten Scale hands Stalker a six out of ten.  This is nothing new, and it’s nothing special.  This doesn’t mean, however, that there’s anything really wrong with it.
