Guy Ritchie movies seem to be taking hold of Hollywood with his next follow-up to Sherlock Holmes being Lobo, which begins production early next year.
The character originated in 1983 in “Omega Men,” written by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen. Lobo has morphed into several comic personifications. In film comic book enthusiasts can recall him as a seven-foot tall, blue-skinned, indestructible and heavily muscled anti-hero who drives a supped upped motorcycle. He lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on causing nothing but havoc. But never fear! Lobo teams with a small town teenage girl to stop the creatures. Go Figure!
