Led Online Review–Not Half Bad
Led is a strange sort of short horror film that, in a very real way, almost defies description. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s definitely not the greatest, either.
Led is all about a couple young aspiring filmmakers. They think they’ve got everything they need to make a sweet horror film: a creepy, run-down house for a set, a shocking storyline, even some “eye candy” in the form of young actress Ella. But when they bring their elements together, what they find is that they’ve got a whole lot more than they bargained for. But did they make these decisions themselves? Or were they led?
There’s a pretty nifty twist ending on the end of this one, and frankly, that’s pretty good for a film that weighs in at just under two and a half minutes of run time. But this is somewhat abrogated by a plotline that feels like it’s moving way too fast. Especially the first thirty seconds–they really needed to slow that down a bit and put it in maybe one or even two minutes.
Aside from this, however, the Screenhead Ten Scale knows a decent movie when it sees it, no matter how fast it’s running, and hands it a worthwhile six out of ten.
