Season of the Witch seems like a typical movie of the Middle Ages with lots of darkness and a witch for men to contend with despite having her in a cage pulled by horses. But I really like the sound editing in this film.  The horse hooves resounding creates an eerie feeling of doom and death.

The movie opens in March 2009.
