You know, this really burns my bacon.  It will also serve as the BIGGEST disappointment of my day because this story would have been awesome.

Apparently, there was this seventeen year old girl who called police on some forty year old guy sitting behind her during a showing of New Moon.  Said seventeen year old went on to claim that the three-times-her-age guy was biting her on the neck during the showing.

But, after facing a brutal grilling by police, she buckled and fessed up.  She was merely being KISSED on the neck and was apparently enjoying it and permitting it to continue.

Brushing aside, for a moment, the cringe-inducing concept of a forty year old guy kissing some seventeen year old girl out in the theater in public (bet someone’s dad wanted to get a shotgun out, either for him or for her!), after the brouhaha that happened back a couple summers ago with The Dark Knight, I would’ve loved to have been able to put up another “people take the movies too far” story.

Ah well…sometimes the truth must be good enough.
