Zombieland Sequel Likely, And Likely In 3-D

November 25th, 2009 in Action, Actors, Adventure, Box Office, Comedy, Horror, Movies, Sequels -

zombieland_clownIs there anyone out there who didn’t know, back before this movie was going to get released even, that the chances of a Zombieland sequel were already almost certain?  Even Woody Harrelson had to play the voice of reason and tell us, hey, whoa, let’s dial it back a notch, huh?  See how the movie plays out before we talk sequel.

But even Woody probably knew that people were going to show up in DROVES for this awesome zombie romp, and thus it’s confirmed, not only is Sony willing to put up the dough to do another one, but they’re also possibly willing to do it in 3-D.

If ever there were a movie that lent itself to 3-D filmmaking, it’s the hyperkinetic action style of Zombieland.  Heads and assorted parts will go flying at us, and I say that’s nothing short of sheer awesome.  And after seeing the glasses-optional class of 3-D that was My Bloody Valentine, well, I’m a little more enthusiastic about what I thought was just a gimmick.
