James Cameron’s Avatar clearly is the winner at the box office for the holiday weekend.  Although Sherlock Holmes is getting the buzz for being a clever, fast-paced movie, Avatar wondrous and cinematic excellence is domineering winner. Movie public love Avatar and want to see it more than once and encourage their friends to go as well. 

In third place is Alvin and the Chipmunks: Squeakquel, which is cool for the kids who might be too scared to watch the violence in Avatar.  But never fear The Princess and the Frog hangs at number seven.  Really, the eclectic choices is phenomenal.  Award winner Up in the Air is a must see as well as Invictus.
