The tally hasn’t arrived in my email cache yet, but industry trades report that Avatar beat the famous sleuth, winning the second week in a row, at the box office.  It is obvious the word of mouth and excitement of James Cameron science fiction movie in 3D is growing. 

Avatar took in an estimated $75 million while Guy Ritchies’ Sherlock Holmes estimated $65 million.
