Oh, now I’m just plain old scared.  Seems like these days, the news about horror movies scares me a whole lot more than the movies themselves ever did.

Today, you see, I got a nifty little nugget of fear and sorrow for the genre as I discovered a little bit about Eli Roth‘s upcoming Endangered Species.  That photo, by the way, I found over at Cinema Blend, and it’s pretty scary in its own right, even though as far as I can tell it has next to nothing to do with the story.

Anyway, Endangered Species is said to be a lot like Cloverfield, and that might be the part that’s got me the most freaked out.  There’s even some word that, since, Summit Entertainment was planning to produce at last report, Rob Pattinson was going to take the lead.  I was upset about this sort of news before, but at the rate he’s going he might well GET the horror chops he needs because everyone and his mother will put him in EVERYTHING.

So look for this one eventually–no word on release dates yet.
