Ghostbusters 3 News: Bill Murray’s Comeback Stranger Than Expected
Okay, this is a REALLY freaky little news bit–and it is news, too, for anyone who thinks this may be mere gossip as it comes directly from Murray’s fellow cast member Sigourney Weaver.
She had two very interesting things to say during a recent interview about the upcoming title, and here they are. One, naturally, is much more interesting than the other.
1. Her son Oscar, who the Ghostbusters saved from Vigo the Carpathian in the second installment, is coming back as a Ghostbuster himself.
2. Peter Venkman is coming back too…as a ghost.
Like I said, definitely one more interesting than the other but still both pretty interesting. Peter as a ghost? Considering all the crap he gave Slimer it makes some sense, let the ghost-bigot walk on the other side of the fence, so to speak–it’s very Rod Serling Twilight Zone-ish.
At any rate, this should still be plenty awesome, so when it finally hits theaters I know I’m looking forward to it.
