Hit Girl Poster from Kick-Ass
On December 17th, 2009

I am enormously excited to introduce the exclusive Hit Girl character poster for Kick-Ass! It premiered today on IGN. My daughter digs the purple hair and purple outfit with the spear accessory. Awesome, you go girl!
Kiss-Ass is about an average teenage boy (if there is such a nominally) who decides to take his obsession with comic books to a whole new level – and try to become a superhero. It’s not easy with lots of ache and pains.
Kick-Ass opens April 16, 2010!

don’t know why, but somehow I don’t get inspired by the films about women superheroes… with all my respect, saving the planet is smth men can do!:)))
@ Mhunter – I’m not much of a superhero movie fan generally but I just saw this and was pretty impressed. It’s witty, fairly smart, stylish but not overly so and nowhere near as bad as…as pretty much every superhero film I’ve seen in the last ten years. It’s not really about Hit Girl, more an “origins” story about Kick Ass himself and a couple of others, but she – and I can say this in all honesty – is the true star. Hit Girl totally owns the film with the best lines and the best moves, and she half makes me wanna hug her and half scares the crap outta me.
And she’s only ten.
Overall it’s a highly entertaining film and if you can take plenty of mess and very strong language (from a cute, ten year old girl!), I’d say you’d be doing yourself a favour if you watched it.
