Well folks, anyone who was thinking a little Hancock sequel might sound good right about now will be in for a serious disappointment–Peter Berg says there’s no way it’s coming out any time soon.

The problem of the day seems to be scheduling, folks.  Here’s the word from Berg:

“To get us all in the same room where we can talk and then agree on anything? You’ll never meet a group of people who will have a harder time agreeing on anything. It’s like the Israeli peace process times a thousand in how tough it is for us all. But I think it will happen, we just all have to get in the same room with some consistency.”

So that’s the way it looks, and with Berg slated to start working on Battleship, he doesn’t have the kind of time it’d take either.

What’s worse is that Will Smith himself is off encamped with his family, building the childrens’ film career.  So for the time being, at least, no more superpowered alcoholic adventures.
