Peter Jackson Says Not To Worry About Hobbit Schedule
In a move that proves that movie journalism is easily one of the most nebulous concepts on the face of the earth, and that everything is constantly changing, Peter Jackson came out with news countering the suggestion that the Hobbit movie is going to be delayed. Dig the word:
“We were due to deliver the scripts and be shooting sometime around April and now, I think I said in an interview, we were shooting in June. And somehow people are now saying the film is delayed.”
Except it kind of IS, because last I checked, June and April are not the same month.
Admittedly, it’s not as delayed as people think it is, but there’s definitely a delay. A delay of two months, and that’s straight out of Peter Jackson’s own mouth, in a roundabout way, of course.
So for right now, the Hobbit shooting schedule is (mostly) on track, and we should be able to see this in 2011.
