Zombie YouTube Review–A Clever Idea

December 29th, 2009 in Horror, Movies, Reviews -

Okay, I’ll lead in with this one by saying that this was an idea that just shocked me.  A closed-room zombie movie?  Now that was a stretch by any conception of the imagination!  I don’t believe I’ve seen the like, and this may well be one of the most unique ideas I’ve ever seen.  But will the execution break this one?  Let’s find out.

Essentially, three people find themselves trapped in a house’s bathroom as Zombie Apocalypse starts breaking out, and as time goes along, they begin to turn on each other.  Will they survive the bathroom long enough to be able to emerge into their new world?  Or will they never make it off the john?

Admittedly, this is short, and even the filmmaker admits it’s rough and amateurish, But it’s still a good idea, and the execution, frankly, isn’t that big an impediment to the understanding of the good idea.  It’s short, but it’s punchy and downright vicious, so it’s pretty good as short film goes.

The Screenhead Ten Scale gives this one a six out of ten for doing a solid, if short, job and giving us an interesting idea that could’ve really gone somewhere with proper support.
