Avatar Still the Best at the Box Office

January 22nd, 2010 in Box Office, Movie News, The Movie Biz -

avatarshipI am sure winning the top Golden Globes Award sparked a resurgence of interest and excitement for James Cameron’s Avatar. Enough resurgence to keep Avatar alive in Pandora.  As the old saying goes, “Money talks and (blank) walks.”

The Book of Eli is in second with The Lovely Bones taking third. I want to see Peter Jackson’s movie, but I am afraid that it will be a downer. If anyone has seen it, let me know if it is uplifting as actress Susan Sarandon says it is. Sarandon stars in the movie playing the murdered girl’s grandmother.
