Avatar Wins Weekly Box Office, Of Course
Of course, Avatar found Pandora at the Box Office. I am very please with the whole process and somewhat surprised. Who would have thought James Cameron, or any filmmaker, having two films reach the top grossing film of all time?
Now, I want to see how long Avatar will remain No. 1 at the box office. I can guess two weeks. Daybreakers might knock it down this weekend, but I doubt it.

James Cameron directing ability and insight into what makes a must see movie has once again made a hit with Avatar. I am an artist and I am amazed that the artistic talent that is exhibited throughout this blockbuster film. As for how long this movie will remain number 1 at the box office … I think the next movie that may try to take the number 1 spot is Extraordinary Measures which is scheduled to be released on January 22, but I feel Avatar will still hold the number 1 spot through the weekend of January 22. I have talked to several friends that are going back a second time to see Avatar … a GREAT movie no matter how many times you see it!
