Avatar Wins Weekly Box Office, Of Course

On January 9th, 2010

Now, I want to see how long  Avatar will remain No. 1 at the box office.  I can guess two weeks. Daybreakers might knock it down this weekend, but I doubt it.

James Cameron directing ability and insight into what makes a must see movie has once again made a hit with Avatar. I am an artist and I am amazed that the artistic talent that is exhibited throughout this blockbuster film. As for how long this movie will remain number 1 at the box office … I think the next movie that may try to take the number 1 spot is Extraordinary Measures which is scheduled to be released on January 22, but I feel Avatar will still hold the number 1 spot through the weekend of January 22. I have talked to several friends that are going back a second time to see Avatar … a GREAT movie no matter how many times you see it!

This movie is breaking all the records. James Cameroon is the first director with 2 movie grossing over a billion dollars. It is amazing!
