January 20th, 2010 in Actors, Comedy, Directors, Movies, Screenwriting, Trailers -

Greenberg brings actor Ben Stiller together with Academy Award-nominated writer and director Noah Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale) to tell the tale of Roger Greenberg, which will be in the movie theaters on March 26, 2010.

Roger Greenberg, played by Stiller, is single, fortyish and at a crossroads in his life.  Why do people always have to be at a crossroads of life at 40?

Greenberg finds himself in Los Angeles, house-sitting for six weeks for his more successful and married-with-children brother. Greenberg is in search of a place to restart his life. He tries to reconnect with old friends including his former band mate Ivan played by Rhys Ifans.

As old friends they aren’t necessarily still best friends. Greenberg soon finds himself spending more and more time with his brother’s personal assistant Florence played by Greta Gerwig. Florence is an aspiring singer and also something of a lost soul. Despite his best attempts not to get involved Greenberg and Florence forge a connection. Greenberg realizes he may at last have found a reason to be happy.

Also starring in Greenberg is Jennifer Jason Leigh, Chris Messina, Brie Larson and Juno Temple.
