Giveaway — Wild Ocean

January 29th, 2010 in Documentary, DVD, Movies -

wildoceanWhile watching Wild Ocean I plunged into an unforgettable underwater experience. I witnessed South Africa’s spectacular Wild Coast – where the Zulu and western worlds meet – the last of the true wild coast.

The documentary captures the annual winter migration of billions of sardines. From the sky, the mass of sardines look similar to an oil spill. Swirling shoals, swooping gannets, diving seals, herding dolphins, breaching whales and frenzied, torpedoing sharks compete in an epic underwater struggle for survival.

Wild Ocean introduced the celebration of the beauty of land and sea, as well as local efforts to protect this unique ecological resource.  A vital message that needs to be heard and followed.

Ultimately, this is where Africa meets the sea.  The movie was originally produced for the IMAX theaters.

Screenhead has 4 copies of Wild Ocean to giveaway to 4 lucky winners who post their name. We will pick the winners Thursday, February 11, 2010.
