Well folks, breathe a sigh of relief, because unlikely country music superstar Taylor Swift (who apparently likes to be called Swifty to differentiate herself from ex-boyfriend and all around sullen lump Taylor Lautner) will NOT be playing Supergirl in the bafflingly titled: Supergirl! The Love Story.

First off that’s the first I’ve heard of a DC-themed romance movie.  Second off, that’s WAY too much like My Super Ex-Girlfriend for comfort and that movie was a whomping bringdown.  But the crew out at DC felt downright compelled to kick in a little rumor control on the whole topic–dig the word:

“I’d love to know who the ‘Hollywood insider’ is, because that’s as clueless a thing as I’ve heard all year.”

Clueless.  Well, hey…it IS plausible.  After all, ole Swifty’s (thinking about it, it sounds like something a twelve year old girl would name her HORSE) won more awards this year than certain entire professional sports teams, so it’s not like she doesn’t have buzz coming out the eyes.

But hopefully this will not only kill the rumor she’s in the movie, but also the movie right along side it.
